  21. Select "Properties"
  22. Select "Device Manager"
  23. Double-Click "Modem"
  24. Double-Click on "MVP28...."
  25. Select "Resources"
  26. Remove the check on "Use automatic settings"
  27. Double-Click on "Input/Output Range"
  28. Select One of the ranges below
  29.     Com    Range        
  30.     1    03F8-03FF    
  31.     2    02F8-02FF    
  32.     3    03E8-03EF    
  33.     4    02E8-02EF    
  34. Select an available IRQ
  35. Select "Apply"
  36. Your Done

  38. That said, Why Bother? Mine works fin on the default setting.
