- Right Click on "My Computer"
- Select "Properties"
- Select "Device Manager"
- Double-Click "Modem"
- Double-Click on "MVP28...."
- Select "Resources"
- Remove the check on "Use automatic settings"
- Double-Click on "Input/Output Range"
- Select One of the ranges below
- Com Range
- 1 03F8-03FF
- 2 02F8-02FF
- 3 03E8-03EF
- 4 02E8-02EF
- Select an available IRQ
- Select "Apply"
- Your Done

- That said, Why Bother? Mine works fin on the default setting.
